Joe Wight was born and raised in the Boston area and received his BFA in sculpture and interrelated media from The Massachusetts College of Art and Design. For the last decade, he has worked in design, manufacturing, and education.

His art is inspired by his relationship with post-industrial society and the ways in which people treat each other.
