Over There

This piece was made in 2010, 7 years after the US Government invaded Iraq. The following text was printed below the piece to explain the intermittent bell sound.

The Opinion Research Business, an independent British polling agency, found that there were roughly 1,033,000 casualties that took place between the invasion of Iraq in March 2003 and the date of their poll in August 19th, 2007. If this number were stretched to fill the last 7 years since the invasion with a regular interval between deaths, then there would be one death every three and a half minutes. The bell above rings once for every person that has lost their life as a result of this conflict.
